WIC – Women Infants Children – City

WIC is a program providing free, nutritious food, and coupons for food, for pregnant and nursing women and for children up to age 5.

In Maryland, a person must meet all of the following requirements:

*You must be – pregnant or breastfeeding or a new mother, or an infant or child up to age five.
*You must be a resident of the State of Maryland.
*You must meet the income-eligible guidelines.
*You must have a health or nutrition need.

Facts About WIC:

*You can have a job.
*You can be living with your parents.
*You can be single.
*You can be a student.
*You can be unemployed.
*You do not need parental consent.
