Gesher LaTorah

Gesher LaTorah is a community-based Jewish special education program serving students age 4 to adult with significant disabilities such as autism, developmental, cognitive, language and multiple disabilities. The programming affords students a weekly opportunity to experience their Jewish heritage through hands-on, multi-sensory activities using – technology, art, music, movement and rhythm. Curriculum focus includes Torah, Jewish community, Jewish life cycle, prayer, holidays, Hebrew language, customs and rituals and Bar/Bat Mitzvah preparations. Gesher LaTorah is under the auspices of the Center for Jewish Education.
